When: Saturday February 25th from 9am to 12pm

Where: Our office, located at 11551 Nuckols Road, Suite G, Glen Allen, VA 23059

We are offering services from Shred-it to clean out personal documents to protect your identity and unclutter your home. Tech for Troops will be on-site accepting Technology donations for veterans.

Tech for troops is currently in need if the following donations:

  • Working and non-working laptops with power adapters
  • Desktop Computers
  • Working Flat panel Montiors
  • iPads and Tablets
  • Cell Phones
  • Keyboards, Mice, and other computer parts
  • File Servers networking equipment
  • Wiring (Cat5 and Cat6)

Millions and millions of pounds – That’s how much electronic waste people are tossing in landfills each year! We extend the life of electronics by refurbishing and gifting them to America’s Active Duty Transitioning Military, Homeless and Impoverished Veterans and their families.

Don’t fill up our landfills with your used tech. Give it new life by responsibly recycling it with us! Save the environment and support a veteran!

How You Can Make A Difference

Responsibly recycle your e-waste with us. We keep your used technology out of the landfill. Our doors are open to receive e-waste Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:00p.m. Our address is 4840 Waller Rd. Richmond, VA 23230. For more information, visit www.techfortroops.org.

We need: We can accept (with a fee):
Working and non-working Laptops with power adapters CRT monitors – the bulky old style $1.50 per pound
Desktop computers LCD TVs $1.50 per pound
Working flat panel monitors Printers/Faxes/Copiers/Scanners $1.50 per pound
iPads and tablets Cracked monitors $1.50 per pound
Cell phones Batteries (vehicle, boat) $5.00 per pound
Keyboards, mice and other computer parts We cannot accept:
File servers and networking equipment Appliances
Wiring (Cat5 and Cat6)
All other electronics you are throwing away
